We spent 9 days there to visit our brother who lives nearby. Bob & Tess were the most lovely and helpful people we could have imagined. Nothing was a trouble to them, and they were great company as well. If we are able to come again, this is the only place we want to stay at!

Located in the Newcastle area, this hotel is a convenient stopover on your journey. With a good location in the Belmont area, you'll be close to everything you need. Although antiquated, the room and bathroom were clean and tidy. The owners seem to be friendly and willing to go above and beyond, even driving guests to their destination when taxis don't show up.

The internet connection seems to be a problem with guests having to go back to reception multiple times for a code.

Quiet location, breakfast value for money and good service

This hotel is a great value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. The updated facilities and excellent Queen size bed in the rooms make for a comfortable stay. Located on the Pacific Highway, it provides easy access to nearby attractions such as Blacksmiths Beach and Caves Beach.

No major issues, everything was satisfactory.

The room was extremely clean and comfortable. Despite being close to the main road, there is no noise from the traffic. The motel was easy to find. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here. It is also close to Belmont Bowling Club and other places where you can grab a bite to eat if you need to.

Breakfast cereal was stale (even though use by date was 2 weeks away) we ordered for 7.30 - 7.45 &'it didn't turn up until 8.00

Decent price and relatively clean, with basic amenities in-room and very helpful owners. The location was easily accessible by car and within a short drive of shops and restaurants. It was a good option for a short romantic getaway.

The noise from the busy road outside was constant and disturbed our sleep. The bed was not comfortable, and the pillows were lumpy.

Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive. The rooms were clean, well-stocked, and had updated facilities. The soundproofing was also adequate, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Lastly, the staff provided excellent service. They were friendly, helpful, and made me feel welcomed throughout my stay.
